Jared Michel Thomas is a Southern Indiana native. Growing up in Posey County, after graduation, Jared attended the University of Kentucky where he pursued degrees in Sociology and Spanish and graduated with Honors. During his time at the University of Kentucky, he was elected to serve on the National Board of Directors of the Delta Sigma Phi Fraternity where he led in a national partnership with the American Red Cross to help facilitate blood drives, community service, and monetary donations for the National American Red Cross Organization.
After his graduation from the University of Kentucky, Jared attended law school at the Valparaiso University School of Law, located in Northwestern Indiana. After his graduation, he moved back to Southern Indiana where he opened a law firm in 2011 practicing in the areas of general litigation, federal and state criminal defense, family law, property disputes, and federal and state appeals.
Over the past nine years, he has built his business and reputation in the legal community as a strong advocate for his clients. He has undertaken the same philosophies that his grandfather taught him about business: Treat people right, work your hardest to accomplish your goals, and the rest will follow suit. He applies that principle in all of his endeavors.
Jared Michel Thomas is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Indiana, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
